Rolling Stone Blog is proud to present an exclusive interview with Fienxsol, the rising artist who’s been making waves in the music scene with her distinctive blend of hip-hop, pop, and rock. Born in Bolivia and raised in New York City, Fienxsol’s multicultural background and diverse musical influences have shaped her unique sound, which is driven by catchy melodies and well-crafted lyrics.

    A Fusion of Influences

Rolling Stone Blog: Fienxsol, your music is a fascinating blend of different genres. Can you tell us more about your musical influences and how they’ve shaped your sound?

Fienxsol: I’m glad you asked! I have a pretty eclectic taste in music. I grew up listening to everything from The Doors to Linkin Park, Pharoahe Monch, Juice WRLD, and The Roots. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. I’m also influenced by Latin American music, trip-hop, and electronic music. I love experimenting with different sounds and styles to create something unique.

    From Trip-Hop to Solo Success

Rolling Stone Blog: You started your professional career MC’ing for the trip-hop group Suisse Modular. What was that experience like, and how did it prepare you for your solo career?

Fienxsol: Working with Suisse Modular was an incredible experience. It taught me how to perform live, how to connect with an audience, and how to create music that’s both experimental and accessible. When I decided to go solo, I applied those lessons to my own music. I’ve released three singles so far, and I’m excited to share more music with my fans this year.

    Upcoming Releases and Future Plans

Rolling Stone Blog: What can fans expect from your upcoming releases? Are there any collaborations or projects in the works that you’re particularly excited about?

Fienxsol: I’ve been working on some new material that I’m really proud of. I’m experimenting with different sounds and styles, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in hip-hop and pop music. I’m also collaborating with some talented producers and artists, which has been a really inspiring experience. Stay tuned for more updates!

    Conclusion

Rolling Stone Blog: Fienxsol, it’s been a pleasure talking to you. Your unique sound and style are definitely making waves in the music industry. What advice would you give to aspiring artists looking to make a name for themselves?

Fienxsol: Thank you for having me! My advice would be to stay true to yourself and your art. Don’t be afraid to experiment and try new things. And most importantly, keep creating and pushing yourself to grow as an artist.
