As two of her mentors praised her in videos shared by her sister Khloé, the reality TV star celebrated the accomplishment in her backyard. She was the only student in her law school class.
One of them says it’s “one of the most inspiring legal journeys we’ve ever seen.” Kim really did pull herself up by the straps of her high heels—no ivory tower shortcuts for her.
Her mentors admire how she fights for prisoners’ release, brings important problems to the attention of people around the world, and always finds time to meet with people that society has forgotten.
Van Jones from CNN was at the event and joked that even penguins in Antarctica know who Kim K is because of her work in criminal justice.
After the event was over, Khloé also shared a video of it and said she was so proud of her sister for finishing the years-long process.
Kim began studying law six years ago. At her graduation, someone said she worked as a lawyer for about 18 hours a week, for a total of more than 5,000 hours. She got over the “baby bar” in 2021.
Lawyers in California don’t have to go to law school. Instead, they can finish a four-year program called “reading the law,” which is also known as “law office study.” Kardashian didn’t go to law school. To work as a lawyer in the state, she still needs to pass the Bar Exam.
Since Kim was so busy and there was a COVID-19 pandemic, it took her longer than four years to finish the study.
Sources told us that Kim took and passed the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination in March, which was an important test for her school. This meant that Kim was almost ready for the next step in her legal career.
Even if Kim doesn’t decide to take the bar, it will still be a big deal. Her late father, Robert Kardashian, who was a great lawyer in his own right, would be very happy.
