Chris Brown is going to jail in the UK for at least a month, but an NFL star wants him to be freed right away.
On Instagram, Odell Beckham Jr. made it clear what he thought about the R&B singer who caused a lot of trouble.
The wide receiver wrote “Free Breeeezyyy” next to a picture of the two of them.
He also said, “The moral compass will never lie.” We’re ready for you.
When Brown was caught for an assault from two years ago, he was sent to prison in the UK.
The judge said no to bail, so he will stay in jail at least until his next hearing on June 13.
Brown was nabbed in Manchester on May 16, just hours after arriving in the UK by private jet.
Brown is in the UK getting ready for his Breezy Bowl tour, which starts on June 15—just two days after his next hearing.
No one knows what effect the court case will have on the tour.
Brown and his team haven’t said anything about his arrest or the tour yet.
Brown is said to have hit music artist Abe Diaw at London’s Tape nightclub in 2023.
In the same year, Diaw sued the famous R&B singer, saying that Brown had intentionally hurt him badly by “beating him over the head” with a bottle of tequila.
Brown was also charged with “ruthlessly” stomping on Diaw’s head while he was on the ground, which also knocked him out.
There was CCTV footage of the event, which is now with the investigators, who are calling it “extremely serious.”
Brown was also accused by Diaw of “spreading false rumors” about him after the claimed event.
The case may have been settled, but no one knows for sure.
At the time, it was said that police tried to talk to Brown about what happened, but he left the country before they could ask him.
Brown was previously not allowed to enter the UK because he was found guilty of beating Rihanna.
The ban on Brown continued more than ten years until it was lifted in 2020 by Priti Patel, who used to be Home Secretary.
